Dr. Jermaine Johnson’s story is one of resilience, service, and determination. A former professional athlete, educator, entrepreneur, and South Carolina State Representative, he has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for working families and underserved communities across the state.

Representing Richland County in the South Carolina House of Representatives, Dr. Johnson has become a leading voice for public education, economic opportunity, healthcare access, and government accountability. His commitment to service is rooted in personal experience and a belief that every South Carolinian deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or ZIP code.

A graduate of the College of Charleston, Strayer University, and Northcentral University, Dr. Johnson combines real-world experience with a vision for a stronger, more equitable South Carolina. Today, he is leading a movement focused on opportunity, accountability, and building A New South Carolina for future generations.
